Nike - Player Issue Home Shirt 2008/2009

This is an official Nike football shirt, used by Aston Villa for the 2008/09 season. It is an authentic Nike product and is also a rare player issue shirt, designed to be used for the players, not intended for general public release.
The shirt is brand new, unworn and comes with its original tag. It has short sleeves and is in the traditional Aston Villa colours of claret and blue. It features an embroidered club badge and Nike 'swoosh' logo together with a printed 'Acorns' logo.
Nike player issue shirts are normally known as a 'code 7' but they are also sometimes designated a 'code 2' [a six figure number beginning with 2] as is the case with this shirt. The differences which make this a player issue shirt are as follows;

It carries no Nike or other labels on the interior of the shirt.

The 'washing/garment care label is printed onto the inside of the shirt [see photo].

The shirt is designed to be a more aerodymanic and body-hugging fit.
This is an adult XXL size. The label states size 'XXL' with a chest of 47"/48", however, these Nike player issue shirts are designed to be tight fitting and the actual armpit to armpit measurment is 23" [46" chest], so it may be also be suitable for a size XL. The length of the shirt is approx 31".
